Free and open to the public.

Tuesday, January 15th; 7:00pm
“Surviving War, Building Better Paths”
Location: Inspiration Hall, MSU Campus
Admission: FREE, open to public

A chance meeting seven years ago led Jewish ghostwriter Anika Hanisch to work with the daughter of a German World War II soldier. The resulting memoir “Don’t Say Anything to Anybody: A German World War II Childhood” (Third Path, 2017), follows a resourceful, clever young girl coming of age in a war zone and struggling to uncover the truth about her world. Through Hanisch’s work on the book, she learned much about generational healing and how, in the aftermath of genocide, storytelling and story-listening are essential tools in that healing.  See the MSU website for more details.
