Rearrange My Mind
© 2020, John Hosking
From Wide Open Door, Produced by Third Path & Peak Recording
Arranged and performed by Amber Ikeman

I’m just trying to rearrange my mind.
Out of step. I’m off balance, nearly blind.
A slight adjustment won’t be enough.
Total reconstruction is too tough.
So I’m just trying
to rearrange my mind

Some days no place feels like home.
Lost in space, every face is a danger zone.
Run and hide?  Stand and fight?
Right or wrong all my screws feel too tight.
So I’m just trying to rearrange my mind.

Some days I’m willing to beg, steal and borrow.
Some days I give up and pray that tomorrow
I’ll find the power to let go and rearrange my mind.

A slight adjustment won’t be enough.
Total reconstruction is too tough.
So I’m just trying to rearrange my mind.
