John Hosking to Share New Album Preview at Semi-Private House Concert

Bozeman, MT – Local singer songwriter John Hosking will provide an afternoon of acoustic guitar, rich vocals, and original work on Sunday, November 11, at 4:00 p.m. The semi-private concert will be hosted by regional fine art photographer.

John is well-known regionally for the music he performed while directing and acting in the Vigilante Theatre Company. Since 2012, he’s been performing independently as an actor in numerous shows at The Ellen Theatre and with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks winter features in the Black Box Theatre. He’s also taken time to write and polish his own songs and perform them at local music venues.

John’s been in the studio off and on this past summer. He’s in the process of laying his core vocal and guitar tracks for a new album scheduled for release in Spring 2019. He’s worked with Gil Stober of Peak Recording in Bozeman and has brought in bass player Eddie Tsuru (Eddie T) of Tsunami Funk, drummer Mike Gillam of Pan Blanco, and other regional artists as well.

Fans love John’s new work and the freedom he’s found in growing his own repertoire of original folk and Americana. His diverse lyrics call to mind familiar Montana mountain ranges, nights by the campfire, and plenty of adventures on the road. He’ll share a few select preview tracks from the album at the November house concert. Fans will also have an opportunity to pre-order the album through a Kickstarter campaign.
